Ben Baker Dies At
Boerjan Home; Was
90 Years of Age
Ben Baker passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. August Boerjan, near St. Ansgar Friday. He was 90 years, one month and 19 days of age.
Mr. Baker was the father of seven children, three of whom preceded him in death. His wife died nine years ago.
He leaves to mourn his passing two daughters and two sons: Mrs. Boerjan of of St. Ansgar, Mrs. C. W. Brown of Galesburg, Illinois, Levi Baker of Kewanee, Illinois, and Charles Baker of Chicago, Illinois. He is survived also by 18 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services were held at the Sacred Heart Church in Osage Monday mourning. The body was taken to Galesburg, Illinois, for interment.
