Obituary:
Delgene Louis Nicolai, 73, of Riceville, Iowa passed away at the Riceville Family Care & Therapy Center on Tuesday, May 15, 2012.

Delgene, son of Clarence and Edna (Schuldt) Nicolai, was born December 14, 1938 in Mankato, Minnesota. He married Dianna Wyatt on July 13, 1995 at St. Clair, Minnesota. Delgene was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his wife, Dianna of Riceville; a daughter Josie (Troy) Higley of Zumbrota, Minnesota; a son Troy (Kim) Nicolai of St. Clair, Minnesota; a stepson Craig (Kellie) DeHoet of Woodward, Iowa; a stepdaughter-in-law Alysha DeHoet; ten grandchildren: Sidney and William Higley, Addison and Jack Nicolai, Courtney, Taylor, Morgan, and Cierra DeHoet, and Cole and Cayla DeHoet; one brother Lyle (Ruth) Nicolai of St. Clair, Minnesota and 11 nieces and nephews.

Delgene was preceded in death by his parents and stepsons: Chris and Casey DeHoet.

Visitation:
Friends may call at the Lindstrom Funeral Home on Friday (May 18) during the hours of 5 to 7 P.M.

Service:
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Saturday May 19, 2012 at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Riceville with Rev. Erich J. Hoeft officiating.

Cemetery:
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Riceville.
