DIES IN CALIFORNIA

L.T. Davies died on September 29, 1945, at his home in Whittier, California, after a lingering illness.

Llewellyn Thomas Davies was born in Osage, Iowa, on September 26, 1867, the son of John and Elizabeth Davies. Mr. Davies graduated from Osage high school and spent a year in pre-college study at the Osage Seminary. He graduated from the Indiana Dental College in 1900. He began his practice in West Concord, Minnesota.

Dr. Davies was married to Sara E. Orcutt on November 28, 1905. They moved to Granite Falls, Minnesota, where they spent 16 years. While living in Granite Falls four boys were born to them.

The fmaily moved to Whittier, Calif. in 1921. Dr. Davies practiced dentistry from that time until 1940. He was a member of the Baptist church in Whittier during that time.

He became ill on October 18, 1940, and after a long illness, died on September 29, 1945, three days after he celebrated his 69th birthday.

He is survived by his wife, Sara; three sons, Clair, Henry and Lt. Conley; and his sister, Mrs. C.E. Conley of St. John's Michigan.
