RIEMAN, WEAVERLING, SCHUPANITZ, FINCH, NICKEL, STILLER, HALL

Funeral services for Marie Rieman, 77, of Rudd, Iowa, were held on Tuesday at the Eden Presbyterian Church in Rural Rudd.

Mrs. Rieman, who farmed in the Rudd and Osage areas with her husband, died Saturday, November 24 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital.

Rev. John Bates officiated at the service, burial was in the Eden Presbyteran Cemetery and Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

She was born on January 19, 1907 at Platte, South Dakota. She moved to the Osage and Rudd area at a young age. She married Hie Rieman on October 1, 1924. They farmed in the Osage and Rudd area until he died in 1962.

She has lived in Rudd since she moved there in 1972.

Mrs. Rieman is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Leo (Irene) Schupanitz of Mason City; three sons: Jule of Osage, Jurn of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, and Richard of Clear Lake, Iowa; four sisters: Mrs. Mable Finch, Mason City; Mrs. Charlotte Nickel of El Cajon, California; Mrs. August (Esther) Stiller of Nora Springs, and Mrs. Paul (Lois) Hall of Plymouth; two brothers, Clarence Weaverling of Clarksville and Wayne Weaverling of Mason City; 13 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
