Funeral services for Mrs. John J. (Alma Berdana) Holmen, 85, of McIntire, Iowa, were held on Saturday, September 15, 1984 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Riceville. Rev. Bertrand Hinrichs officiated at the service, with burial in the Riverside Cemetery, Riceville.
She passed away on Thursday, September 13, 1984, at the Stacyville Nursing Home, Stacyville, Iowa.
Alma Berdena Holmen was born January 30, 1899 at Taopi, Minnesota.
Survivors include a son, John of McIntire; a brother, Arthur Hegge of Rose Creek, Minnesota; five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John, and by two brothers.
