ANDERSON, Lillian

Funeral services for Mrs. Henry (Lillian) Anderson were held on Saturday, June 23, 1984 at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Osage. Pastor Joseph B. Nesheim officiated at the service with burial in the Osage Cemetery. She died at the Good Samaritan Center in St. Ansgar where she had resided the past six years.

Lillian Whilemina** Semn was born on February 2, 1891 in Allison, the daughter of William and Mathilda Semn. She was united in marriage to Henry Anderson on September 28, 1910 at Charles City. The couple farmed in vaious places, retiring to Osage in 1958.

She was active in church work, playing organ and piano and singing in the choir at the Floyd church. Later she served in the Lutheran Church in Osage, where she was confirmed by Pastor T. Solem.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry; and infant son; seven brothers and sisters and her parents.

survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Tom (Maxine) Tresemer; one grandson, Gary Borchardt and two great-grandchildren from Cordova, Illinois; nieces and nephews.

**The newspaper spelled it Whilemina, but it is believed the correct spelling is Wilhemina.
