Funeral services for Sever Gaarder, 78, of Osage, Iowa, were held on Friday, June 22, 1984 at Champion Funeral Home in Osage. Rev. John Gilbert officiated with burial in the Evergreen Cemetery, Rudd, Iowa.

She died on Wednesday, June 20, 1984 at Floyd County Memorial Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Wilma, Osage; two daughters, Mrs. James (Sharon) Holmes of Denver, Colorado; and Mrs. Larry (Bonnie) Marreel of Charles City, and two grandchildren.
