Funeral services for Edna Hartwig, 78, of Osage, were held on Tuesday, May 15, 1984 at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Osage. She died on Saturday, May 12 at Methodist Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota. Vicar Don Kirklen officiated at the service, with burial in the Calvary Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Edna Hartwig, a lifelong area resident was born on February 16, 1906 in Mitchell County, Iowa. Along with her brothers and sisters, she farmed the family farm for many years. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; four brothers, Henry, Alvin, Oscar and Rudolph and one sister, Ella.
She is survived by cousins.
