Funeral services for Peter Ohme, 68, long time resident of Mitchell County, who died at the Mitchell County Memorial hospital July 5, 1958 were held July 8 at the First Lutheran church with the Rev. Don R. Hamilton officiating.
He had been hospitalized about two weeks following a heart attack. Peter Ohme, son of Peder and Ingeborg Ohme, was born January 8, 1890 in Hardanger, Norway. He was the last of five brothers in his family. For many years Peter and his brother, Torkel had farmed in Mitchell County. After his brother's death, Mr. Ohme moved to St. Ansgar where he made his home.
He is survived by nieces and nephews, and will be remembered by his many friends in this community.
Burial was in the Kensett cemetery in Kensett with Rev. Hamilton in charge of the committal services.
