JENKINS, Katherine
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, January 13, 1987, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Osage for Katherine Jenkins, 85, of Osage. She died Sunday, January 11, 1987 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital. Rev. Leon Connolly officiated, and burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
She was born on Janaury 23, 1901 at Gilman, to William and Gertrude (Green) Hennessey. She moved with her family to Mitchell county in 1907 and received her education in the Mitchell County rural schools.
On July 13, 1921, she married Booker Jenkins at Osage.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Eldon (Dorothy) Amy of Osage; two sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Iva) Lambert of Hilman, Minnesota, and Mrs. Kenneth (Helen) Beck of Lime Springs; five grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister; and a great-grandson.
