Harold Nesbit, 80 of rural Osage, died Wednesday, February 3, 1988 at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage. The body was cremated and services will be held at a later date. Champion Funeral Home, Osage is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Nesbit was born December 30, 1907 in New Richland, Minnesota to George and Katherine (Becker) Nesbit. He was educated in New Richland, Minnesota schools and later farmed in New Richland, Minnesota.
He lived in Clear Lake and Mason City where he worked as an auto mechanic. He moved to rural Osage in 1978.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother; and one sister.
Mr. Nesbit is survived by two sons, James of Clear Lake and Wayne of Detroit, Michigan; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Turk of Clarion and Esther Nesbit of Whittier, California; one brother, Floyd "Nibs" Nesbit, Clear Lake and a special friend, Lucy Every, rural Osage.
