FORMER OSAGE MAN SUCCUMBS IN CALIFORNIA

Osage – A former Osage resident, Harold Lane, 53, was buried Thursday at San Jose, California, where he and his family had lived since leaving Osage in 1940. Death occurred Monday evening following a sudden heart attack.

Lane was born to Julia and Carl Lane, December 2, 1909, in Otranto Township, Mitchell County. He was a plasterer. He was married to Adeline Robinson, Osage, who survives him.

Also surviving are four children; Mrs. Joseph Baptista; Mrs. Walter Boesch; Sandra; Harold; and 7 grandchildren, all of San Jose; his mother, San Jose; and a sister, Mrs. Charles Peterson, Osage.

Harold Lane was born December 7, 1905, the son of Carl Orville Lane, who was born February 26, 1874 …died April 21, 1956 Santa Clara, California and Julia G. who was born December 25, 1878 Norway…died February 4, 1964 Santa Clara, California.

He married Adeline Robinson who was born September 27, 1907…died November 28, 1996 in Santa Clara, California. (dates are from California death records)
