FORMER RICEVILLE MAN DIES OF HEART ATTACK
Riceville – Mrs. Otis Lubbert and Mrs. Henry Lubbert, Riceville, were called to Glenwood, Iowa, by the death of their father, Tom Evans, 79, former Riceville resident, who died January 29th.
He suffered a fatal heart attack and died in a Council Bluffs hospital.
Burial was in Winterset, Iowa.

Thomas Earnest Evans was born March 22, 1883 in Iowa. He married Barbara Marie Huglin.
In the 1920 Census they were living in Seely, Faribault, Minnesota.
WWI Draft Registration: September 12, 1918
Thomas Earnest Evans 35 living in Faribault, Minnesota; born March 22, 1883; Rural Mail Carrier; nearest relative, wife Barbara.
Their daughter, Marie Erma Evans married Otis Lubbert
Their daughter, Alice Evans married Henry Lubbert.
