P.A. KNUDSON DIES IN OSAGE
BROTHER OF SENATOR KNUDSON SUCCUMBSOsage – P. A. Knudson, 60, Osage businessman for many years, died here late Sunday afternoon, after an extended illness.
Mr. Knudson, who had been hospitalized for some time, was being cared for at the hoe of Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Teagarden here.
Funeral services are indefinite, pending word from relatives. The services are t be held at the Osage Lutheran church with the Rev. T. Solem officiating.
Mr. Knudson leaves 2 brothers; Senator Herman M. Knudson, Mason City; and Julian, Oage; and 3 sisters; Mrs. John Markham, Lyle, Minnesota; Mrs. E. H. Nyce, Marshalltown; and Mrs. M. H. Steffan, in Arkansas.
Mr. Knudson was born September 16, 1884, the son of Ole and Carrie Knudson, near Orchard. He attended the Orchard schools and assisted with the work on the farm when a young man. He was associated with his brother, Julian, in the operation of the confectionery store at Osage in 1916.
During World War I, he entered the insurance business which field he followed up to the time of his illness. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Osage.

#2P. A. KNUDSON, 60, FUNERAL ON TUESDAY
Osage – Funeral services were to be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Champion Funeral Home for P. A. Knudson, 60, and at 2 p.m. at the Osage Lutheran Church under the direction of the Rev. T. P. Solem . Burial was in the Osage Cemetry.
P. A. Knudson, insurance agent at Osage died Sunday afternoon following a long illness.
