JOHN FRITCHER DIES FOLLOWING ILLNESS; PLAN FINAL SERVICEOsage – John Fritcher died at his home in Rock Creek at 12 o’clock Wednesday night after a six months illness. He was born in this county about 65 years ago and spent his entire life here.
His first wife was Maggie Kellar and they had one daughter, Mrs. Lula Hahn, Grand Forks, N. Dakota. His first wife died.
A few years later he was married to Mozelle Wells. They have three sons, John, Tom, Richard, all at home.
His wife and children survive.
Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at Champion funeral home.Mason City Globe Gazette, Thursday November 2, 1939

John Webster Fritcher was born June 28, 1873 (WWI Draft Registration). He was buried in the Osage Cemetery.
