Mabele (Bailey) Hogan 1896 - 1984
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 2, 1985, at the Champion Funeral Home for Mrs. Mabele Hogan, 88, formerly of Osage, who died on Friday, December 28, 1984, at a Zumbrota, Minnesota, nursing home.
The Rev. James Pittman of the United Methodist Church will officiate and burial will be in the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was born on August 29, 1896, near Osage, to Jud and Rose Ferguson Bailey. She married Willard (Bill) Hogan on April 12, 1915.
Mrs. Hogan worked as a telephone operator for many years. They ran the Arcade in Osage until 1962 when she moved to Rochester, Minnesota. In 1978, she moved to the Zumbrota Nursing Home.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill; her parents; a son, Marlow; a daughter, Maxine; granddaughter, Marliss; great-granddaughter, Shawna; and a great-grandson, John.
She is survived by one sister; one brother; a granddaughter, Mrs. John Kay Gabor Jr., of Zumbro Falls, Minnesota; two grandsons, Dan Mullenbach, Rochester, Minnesota, and Larry Hogan, California; four great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
