Frances Kramer 1903-1982 (Stacyville)
Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Kramer, 78, who died on March 11, 1982, were held on March 15 at Visitation Church in Stacyville with the Reverend Carl Manternach officiating. Burial was at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Meyer.
Frances Pauline Puettmann was born November 14, 1903, in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Joseph Puettmann and Agnes (Ostendorf) Puettmann.
She married Lorenz Kramer on November 22, 1921, in Stacyville, and they farmed near Meyer until retiring in 1958. Mrs. Kramer was a member of the Visitation Christian Mothers Society and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include nine children: Lucy of Stacyville; Mrs. Norman (Betty) Norgaard, and Mrs. Germaine Collette, both of Austin; Mrs. Richard (Lorene) King, Rose Creek, Minnesota; Elmo of Ackley, Iowa; Richard, Osage; Denis, Austin; Fred, Stacyville, and Kenneth, Adams; six sisters: Vera Puettmann, Mrs. Hilda Adams, Mrs. Gilbert (Emma) Durben, Stacyville; Mrs. Alfred (Clara) King, Austin; Mrs. LeRoy (Josephine) Lady, Rochester; and Mrs. Loretta Krebsbach, St. Paul; 38 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lorenz, two sons, Leonard and Quentin, three sisters and two brothers.
