LOGAN MORAN RITES PENDING AT OSAGE
Osage – Logan Moran, 92, died Sunday at the Mitchell County farm. Funeral arrangements are pending at the Champion Funeral Home.
He had been a resident of the hospital at Independence from 1907 until 1950 and at the farm here since that time.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ethel Peck, Cedar Rapids, and two sons.

Osage – Funeral services were held Tuesday at the Champion Funeral Home for Logan Moran, 92, who died Sunday at the Mitchell County farm. Burial was in Mitchell cemetery.

John Logan Moran was born August 1868 in Illinois, the son of William Moran and Mary Jones. He married Cora May Coon, the daughter of Darius Coon and Jan VanLoan Coon. (from a tree found on Ancestry and also the 1925 Iowa Census.
