#1: (OBITUARY)

NEW HAVEN - Services for Julius J. Brunner, 85, who died Wednesday at the Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter's Catholic Church in New Haven; burial in the church cemetery; a rosary was to be at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Champion Funeral Home in Osage and at 8 p.m. Friday at St. Peter's Catholic Church.

Survivors include his widow, Nellie; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Mork of New Haven; two sons: Vernon of Humboldt and Duane of Mason City; four brothers; Father Richard Brunner of Wisconsin, Frank of Mason City, Michael of Jefferson and Joseph of Durand, Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Golden
wedding
planned

OSAGE, IOWA — Mr. and Mrs. Julius Brunner will be honored Sunday on their golden wedding anniversary, with open house at St. Peter's Catholic Church from 2 to 4. A family dinner will be served to 40 at noon at the St. Peter's Hall.

The wedding date is October 18, when Nellie Loftus became the bride of Julius Brunner. An uncle of the bride, the Rev. Edward Loftus, officiated. They have lived in their present home since.

Their children include Mrs. Robert Mork, New Haven; Vernon, Fort Dodge; and Duane, Mason City. There are 10 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Mr. Brunner operated the New Haven Creamery for 40 years, then was affiliated with the Stacyville Creamery for 5 years, prior to his retirement.
