MRS. FRANKLIN O. BRONSON
Mrs. Franklin O. Bronson, resident of Iowa since 1873 died early today at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. H. Crowther, 522 Baltimore Street, after an illness of three months.
Ella Gertrude Luce was born July 12, 1853, at Virgil, New York, and grew to womanhood there.
On June 29, 1873, she was married to Franklin Orlo Bronson at Groton, New York. They moved to Iowa soon afterward, settling at Mitchell.
Later they moved to Osage, where Mr. Bronson was county clerk of Mitchell County for 12 years, and to Riceville, where he was engaged in mercantile business until his death on May 26, 1908.
Following her husband's death, Mrs. Bronson moved to Waterloo and made her home with her daughter. She was a member of the Congregational Church at Osage and Riceville, and of the Woman's Relief Corps. here.
Survivng besides her daughter, Mrs. Crowther, are a son, C. L. Bronson, Kansas City, Missouri, and a daughter, Mrs. J. P. Servoss, Riceville, Iowa, and Avanelle Crowther, Waterloo.
Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at the Kearns Chapel, Reverend William Hardcastle and the Woman's Relief corps in charge.
Burial will be at Mitchell, Iowa.
