Udelle Ahrens
Funeral services were held Saturday, July 2, 1988 in Warrenville, Illinois, for Udelle Ahrens, 82, of Osage. She died Wednesday, June 29, 1988 at Mitchell County Memorial Hospital, Osage, of natural causes.
Mrs. Ahrens was born May 10, 1906 in Chicago, Illinois to Andrew and Frances (Long) Anderson.
She married Ernest Ringberg in 1925 in Chicago, and the couple lived in the Chicago area. Mr. Ringberg died in 1942.
On February 4, 1944 she married Walter Ahrens in Warrenville, Illinois. They lived in Warrenville until he died in 1965. She then moved to Comanche and then to Osage in 1977.
In 1983, she moved to Washington D. C. area returning to Osage this June.
Her parents and her two husbands preceded her in death.
Survivors include six daughters, Elizabeth O'Neal of Oceanside, California, Mrs. Glen (Carole) Buck of Warrenville, Illinois, Nancy Arthur of Chambersberg, Pennsylvania, Mrs. Mel (Jeanne) Tilton of Naperville, Illinois, and Mrs. Jerald (Louise) Philipp of Osage; three sons, Edwin Ringberg of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, David Ringberg of Woodbridge, Virginia and Walter Ahrens of Lisle, Illinois; 22 grandchildren and 11 great-greatchildren.
