Johanna M. Freund
Johanna M. Freund, 88, passed away on April 3, 2005, in Tucson, Ariz., after a long illness.
She was born on March 28, 1917, in Meyer, Iowa, to Nicholas and Anna Theobald Goeser.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Andrew of Tucson, Ariz.; a son, Eugene (Mary Ellen) of Oro Valley, Ariz.; her grandsons, David (Shannon) of West Jordan, Utah, and Michael (Amy) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and three great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson.
She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Kraus of Malone, Germaine (Leander) Braun of Fond du Lac, Elizabeth (Wilbert) Wagner of Glenbeulah and Genevieve (Gerald) Wagner of Fond du Lac; and a sister-in-law, Alice Goeser of Plymouth. Many nieces and nephews across the country also survive her.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Othmar Goeser; a son, David; and a brother-in-law, Edmund Kraus.
Services: A memorial Mass will be held at a later date in Wisconsin. Contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in her memory.Adair Funeral Home, Tucson, Ariz. 85704, (520) 742-7901, assisted the family.
