NICK GOESER
Nick Goeser, 84, of R. 1, Glenbeulah died Saturday night in St. Nicholas Hospital where he had been a patient two weeks.
He was born January 23, 1888 in St. Joe, Fond du Lac County, the son of the late Stephen and Margaret Knaus Goeser.
On January 12, 1916, he married Anna Theobald in Meyer, Iowa. They lived in Iowa five years before moving to the St. Cloud area where Mr. Goeser farmed. His wife died in 1931
He was a member of St. Cloud Catholic Parish.
Survivors include a son, Othmar, of R. 2, Plymouth; five daughters; Mrs. Andrew Freund, Antioch, Illinois; Mrs. Wilbert Wagner, Glenbeulah; Mrs. Leander Braun and Mrs. Eddie Kraus, both of Malone; and Mrs. Gerald Wagner, Fond du Lac; 24 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothes and four sisters.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Cloud Church with the Rev. Arthur Nickolai, pastor, celebrant of Mass. Family rites will be at 10 a.m. in the Huss Funeral Home, St. Cloud.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. today. A parish vigil will be held there at 8 tonight.
