Andrew Peter Freund 1915-2006

Andrew P. Freund, 90, passed away on April 17, 2006, in Tucson, Arizona., after a long illness.
He was born on November 30, 1915, in St. Peter, Wisconsin, to Hubert J. and Elizabeth (Wirtz) Freund.
He is survived by his son, Eugene (Mary Ellen) of Oro Valley, Ariz.; grandsons, David (Shannon) of Edmonds, Wash., and Michael (Amy) of Scottsdale, Ariz.; three great-granddaughters; and one great-grandson. He is also survived by a brother, Gregor of Fond du Lac, Wis.; sisters, Regina (Albert) of Fond du Lac and Mary Esther (Earl) Salzmann of Montclair, California; and numerous nieces and nephews across the country.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Johanna (Goeser) in 2005; a son, David; a sister, Ludwina and husband, Herman Buechel; a sister, Frances and husband, Louis Steffen; a brother, Leo and wife, Amanda (Koenigs) Freund; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Gregor (Marie) Freund; and his brothers-in-law, Earl Salzmann and Albert Nett.
A memorial service will be held in Wisconsin in the near future. Contributions may be made to the Parkinson's Association in his memory. Adair Funeral Home, Tucson, Arizona assisted the family.
