PEARL HEADINGTON DIED; RITES NOV. 15
Funeral services were held Saturday for Mrs. Pearl Headington, 73, who died November 12, at a Mason City hospital. Mrs. Headington had been in failing health for many months.
The Rev. Robert L. Smith, pastor of the United Methodist Church in Osage, was in charge of the rites at the Champion Funeral Home, and burial was in the Osage Cemetery.
Lillian Pearl White was born on October 27, 1896, in East Lincoln township, the daughter of Henry and Mary Cummings White. She attended the rural schools and was graduated from Osage high school. After serving one year as a school teacher she began doing practical nursing which she continued for many years. She moved to Osage in 1926.
George Clemens (Clements) and Pearl White were married in 1946. He died the following year. She was united in marriage with Grover Elmer Headington in 1952. He died in 1965.
Surviving are her sister, Mrs. Grace Fluhrer of Forest City; two great nieces, a great niece and great nephew.
