OSAGE MECHANIC DIES SUDDENLY AT HOSPITAL

Osage – Edward Retterath, 44, died suddenly Monday morning at a hospital in Mason City following surgery a week ago. Funeral services were pending.

Mr. Retterath was born August 10, 1906, to Peter and Margaret Retterath at Meyer. They came to Osage in 1915 where he resided since. He was married to Frances Cummings in 1936 and has been employed as a mechanic.

Survivors include the widow, daughters Carol Jean, 8 and Sandra Kay, 7, and his parents, all of Osage.
