(Died March 18, 2011)Eilene M. Morische, age 84, of Rudd, entered into eternal rest on Friday, March 18, 2011, at Westbrook Acres Nursing Home in Gladbrook, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1921 317th Street, south of Osage, with Pastor Byron Northwick officiating. Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery. Visitation is from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage.
Eilene was born December 19, 1926, in Osage, the daughter of John and Emilie (Troge) Muller. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Cedar Township. Eilene attended the Dudley rural school and graduated from Osage High School in 1945. On November 25, 1956, she married Vern Morische at St. John’s Lutheran Church. Eilene was employed at Home Trust and Savings Bank for 12 years. She was a member of the LWML at St. John’s and taught Sunday school for many years. Eilene enjoyed her family, gardening and flowers, and helping Vern on the farm.
Eilene is survived by her husband, Vern Morische of Rudd; her children, Karen (Walter) Cheeseman of Grundy Center, Marilyn (Leon) Fahrmann of Alexander, John (Julie) Morische of Rudd; 11 grandchildren, Ryan (Lacey) Cheeseman, Brent Cheeseman, Emily Cheeseman, Jennifer Fahrmann, Garrett (Natalie) Fahrmann, Carrie Fahrmann, Rebecca Fahrmann, Benjamin Fahrmann, Bethany Morische, Kimberly Morische, and Jeffrey Morische; and four great-grandchildren, Cael, Blake, and Maegan Cheeseman, and Riley Fahrmann.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Lloyd, Eldred, and Theodore Muller; and two sisters, Leona Muller, and Lorene Brand.
