Mrs. Nettie Anderson
to Be Held SaturdayOSAGE, IOWA — Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1:30 at the house and at 2 o'clock at Osage Lutheran church, officiated by Rev. T. P. Solem, for Mrs. Nettie Anderson, 65, who died Wednesday morning at the home of Mrs. Luva Tomey. Mrs. Tomey had been caring for her since her return two weeks ago from Iowa City where she had a major operation. She had lived in Osage the past 36 years.
Surviving are two children, Rudolph Anderson, and Mrs. E. A. [Myrtle] Counsell, both of Osage; three sisters: Mrs. Julian [Carrie] Schoger, Mrs. E. A [Olga] Christiansen, both of Osage and Mrs. Maurice [Sophie] Maudal of Whiterock, South Dakota; and two brothers, Chris Brenden of Osage, and Henry Brenden of Fargo, North Dakota.
Burial will be in the cemetery at Meroa.

Thonetta “Nettie” Brenden was born October 1876 in Wisconsin, the daughter of Halvor Olsen Brenden and Jorand Olsdatter Haugen.Nettie married Charlie "Carl" Lewis Anderson. He was born January 29, 1875 in Wisconsin.

NOTES:He must have died in North Dakota somewhere between 1920 and 1930. In 1920 they were living in Mabel, Griggs, North Dakota. She is a widow by the 1930 Census and back in Osage Iowa, living with her son Rudolph and widowed mother Jorand.
