SHEUMAKER SERVICES TO BE IN MELTONVILLE
Meltonville – Funeral services for Eli Sheumaker, who died Monday night at his farm home north of here, will be held Saturday at 1 o’clock at the home and at 1:30 at the Meltonville Community church.
The Rev. R. S. Phillips of Northwood will have charge of the services. Burial will be at Woodbury cemetery north of here.
Survivors, besides his wife are a son, Rupert, at home; Frank of Carpenter, Iowa; Harold , St. Ansgar, Mrs. Arlene Pike of Otranto, and Mrs. Irene Krahn of Lyle, Mn.

Eli Sheumaker was born September 1868 in Iowa (1900 Census). According to the 1925 Iowa Census his parents were Andrew Sheumaker and Daisy Flathers. Eli married Nellie (not sure of maiden name) The 1925 Iowa Census has her parents as Charles Simondson and Hannah Watters but the obit for their son Rupert lists his mothers’ maiden name as Simonton.
