Funeral services for Mrs. James Jensen were held Friday, November 29, 1963 at the First Lutheran Church with the Rev. Don Comnick officiating. Burial was in the First Lutheran cemetery with Rev. Comnick in charge of the committal services.
Clara (Priem) Jensen was born March 14, 1897 in Newburg Township, the daughter of Sophie and Albert Priem. She was baptized and confirmed in Immanuel Lutheran Church. On February 4, 1916 she was united in marriage with James Jensen, at which time she joined the First Lutheran Church. This union was blessed with one daughter and three sons.
Mrs. Jensen died November 25, 1963 at the Cedar Valley Hospital, Charles City, Iowa.
She is survived by one son, Wayne of Cedar Falls; two grandsons; a sister, Mrs. Ruth Hasse of Minneapolis; five brothers, Lawrence of Mason City; Albert of Watertown, South Dakota; Oscar of Portland, Oregon; Louis of Wellesley Hills, Mass. and Walter of LaCrosse, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a daughter and two sons.
