Committal Services for the ashes of Miss Vera A Fluent, 87, who died October 1, 1976, at St Petersburg, Florida, will be Tuesday morning at 10:30 at Oakwood Cemetery, Floyd. Rev. Donald Sinclair, pastor of the First Congregational Church will officiate.
The Hauser Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Vera Almyra Fluent was born at Otranto, Iowa, the daughter of Otis J. and Jesse Ann Waterbury Fluent. She graduated from the Charles City High School and Iowa State Teachers College in Cedar Falls. Miss Fluent taught for many years in the Charles City School Systems having taught at McKinley School and prior to her retirement was principal of the Washington School.
She made her home in St. Petersburg for 25 years.
Surviving are her sister, Margaret Fluent, St. Petersburg, Fla., and a brother, Edgar Fluent of Anaheim, Calif.
