RETIRED RICEVILLE VETERINARIAN DIED AT 82
Riceville – Dr. Abram William Rivers, 82, a retired veterinarian, died Sunday at his home here. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at the Riceville Funeral Home. The Revs. Luella Kuether and T. Janet Surdam of the Methodict Church will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery here.
The son of William and Carrie Rivers, he was born October 28, 1878. He had lived in Riceville 55 years.
Surviving are his wife, Gwen; a son, Walter, Lakeville, Minn.; three sisters, Mrs. Charles Schaefer, Riceville; Mrs. Grace Richey, Riceville; Mrs. Florence Sovereign, Cresco.
