LEBOW RITES AT RICEVILLE
Riceville – Funeral services for Fred Lebow, 75, rural Riceville, were at 2 p.m. Monday at St. Peters Lutheran Church in Riceville. Mr. Lebow died Saturday at an Osage hospital where he was taken Friday.
Mr. Lebow was born January 10, 1887 in Howard County, the son of Fred and Betty Lebow.
He is survived by two daughters, Velma, at home, and Mrs. Bernice Wagner, New Haven, and a son, Elmer, at home.
Also surviving are a brother, William, Riceville, and a grandchild and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Minnie, and two sisters and a brother.Mason City Globe Gazette, Monday December 3, 1962

Frederick Lebow Jr. was the son of Frederick Lebow Sr 1848-1923 and Bertha ”Betty” Friedrike (Gamrow) Lebow 1856-1935. He married Minnie Anne Kapka, the daughter of William Frederick Kapka and Elizabeth Neals.
