Charles Button
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 16, 1988 at Hennipen Avenue United Methodist Church, Minneapolis, for Charles L. Button 65, of Minneapolis, formerly of Riceville, Iowa. He died Wednesday, April 15, 1988 at his home.
He was born November 6, 1922 in Riceville, the son of Leslie and Lydia (Milbrandt) Button. He attended rural schools in Mitchell County. He graduated from Riceville High School and the American Institute of Business in Des Moines. On October 13, 1956, he married Phyllis Johnson in Minneapolis.
He was employed by Piper Jaffray and Hopwood in Minneapolis before retiring.
His parents; one sister; and one brother preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Phyllis of Mineapolis; two sisters, Mrs. Stanley (Eunice) Pringnitz of Osage, and Mrs. William (Arlene) Redrow of Papillion, Nebraska.
