(Died September 17, 2010)

Dorothy Joyce Hansen, age 84, of Osage, died Friday, September 17, 2010, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center in Osage.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., on Saturday, September 25, 2010, at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, with Dr. Stephen Grunlan officiating. Burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Mitchell. Visitation will be from 1:00-1:30 p.m., at the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Dorothy came to the Mitchell County Care Facility in 1967 from Woodward, Iowa. The Care Facility continued to be her home until 2006 when she went to the Osage Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.

Dorothy will always be remembered as a petite young lady, who in her early life was a very energetic and helpful resident. She was baptized as an adult in the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church by Rev. Rick Magstadt, professing Jesus as her Lord and Savior.

There are no remaining relatives for Dorothy, but she leaves a host of loving and caring friends.

Memorials may be directed to the North Iowa Chapter of Hospice.
