RITES FOR MRS. WOODS, 75, ARE HELD IN OSAGE
Osage – Oct. 10 -- -- Funeral services for Mrs. George Woods, 75, who died at her home here, following a two days illness, were conducted by Dr. S. E. Ellis at the Champion funeral home yesterday at 2 p.m.
Caroline Larsen was born November 22, 1857, on a farm near Albert Lea. She was married to George Woods at LeMars in 1888. They later lived in South Dakota and Minneapolis, finally settling in Osage about 35 years ago.
Mrs. Woods is survived by three sisters, Mrs. L. M. Eggen, of Lyle, Minnesota; Mrs. Clara Aubey, Minneapolis; Mrs. C. G Eitel, Minneapolis; a brother, Louis Larsen of Tacoma, Washington; and three nieces who have lived in her home; Mrs. M. C. Baxter of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. W. A. Lehmann, Minneapolis; and Mrs. Irving Smith of Charles City.
