Vinus "Bill" Penney was born March 31, 1921 the son of Sidney and Helen Fairbanks Penney. He married Lorraine Hultman February 15, 1941. They farmed and later delivered Winnebago motor homes until his death May 18, 1979.

They have two children: Carmen, born July 2, 1941 and married to Mathew Hemann; Michael, born November 11, 1952.

Grandchildren are Lynda, and Kurtis Hemann.

Lorraine died May 23, 1985

Burial was at Liberty Cemetery, Little Cedar.
