Mrs. Agatha May, 540 1st street S.E. died at her home Wednesday after an illness of 4 1/2 years.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10am at St. Josephs Catholic church, with burial in St. Josephs cemetery.
Mrs. May was born December 22, 1891 at Stacyville, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Mauer, who survive.
She had lived in Mason City the past 11 years. Also surviving are her husband, Matt; 5 daughters, Mrs. George Erickson, 665 1st street; Mrs. Roger Smith of Oakland, California; Mrs. Richard Hughes 221 2nd st. NW; Martha of Missouri and Agnes at home; one son, Frank of Austin Minnesota; 3 brothers, Albert Mauer of Sheboygan, Wisconsin; Irvin and Raymond of Stacyville; 5 sisters Mrs. Mike Langenfeld of Chicago, Mrs. Tony Goetzinger of Carroll; Mrs. Frank Irlbeck of Dedham; Mrs. Rollie Cooper of Detroit Michigan; Mrs. Joe Heman of Stacyville and 3 grandchildren.
