Mae McKee, 88, Dies at Osage; Rites Pending

Osage---Mrs. Mae McKee, 88, died Wednesday night at the Osage Nursing Home where she had been a patient the last 1 ½ years. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Champion Funeral Home. The Rev. Everett Pencook will officiate and burial will be in the Osage Cemeery.

Born Mae Beckner at Osage, she was the daughter of Abraham and Angeline Beckner. She was married to Albert McKee in Roswell, S. D. After his death she worked in a printing office in Osage many years.

Surviving are a son, L. D. McKee, Fontland, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Mae Emma (nee Beckner) McKee was born April 15, 1874 in Mitchell County, Iowa , the daughter of Abraham and Angeline (Drake) Beckner. She married Albert Grant McKee in Roswell, South Dakota. He died in 1895.
