Mrs. John Duren Rites at Stacyville
Stacyville---Funeral services were held Monday for Mrs. John Duren, 64. She died in her sleep Thursday night. Burial was in the church cemetery with Hatten and Sons in charge.
Surviving are her husband, John; 11 children, Gerald, home on leave from Knoxville Hospital; Mr. Gene (Madeline) Blaser; Elisjus; Stephen; all of Austin; Mrs. Verne (Priscilla) Keifer, Adams, Minn.; Raphael, Osage; Otto, Austin; Mrs. Frank (Olga) Thurneau, Lyle, Minn.; Herbert, DeKalb, Ill.; Junior, Osage; Joseph, at home; three sisters, Mrs. Art (Louise) Durben, Meyer, Iowa; Lily, Capenia, Wis.; Isabelle, Santa Monica, Calif.; a brother, Edward, Meyer, Iowa; 33 grandchildren.

Mary (nee Weber) Duren was born March 1, 1896 in Meyer, Mitchell, Iowa the daughter of Peter Weber 1863-1958 and his first wife Catherine (Theobald) Weber 1870-1903. She married John George Duren 1890-1971.
She was buried in the Visitation Catholic Cemetery, Stacyville.
