Marian I. Anderson, 83, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, formerly of Osage, Iowa, died Saturday, July 10, 2010, at The Finley Hospital in Dubuque, Iowa.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, July 14, 2010, at the Champion-Bucheit Funeral Home in Osage, Iowa with Pastor Wayne Whittenbaugh officiating. Burial will be in the Osage City Cemetery in Osage.
Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at Casey Funeral Home in Cuba City.
Friends may also call from 1:30-2:30 p.m. Wednesday before the service in Osage.
Marian was born on March 10, 1927, in Osage, Mitchell county, Iowa, the daughter of Elmer A. and Nora (Wheeler) Wright. She married Roger Anderson on August 1, 1948, in Osage. Marian worked for the Oliver Corporation in Charles City, Iowa, for several years. She was a devoted reader of the Bible, and enjoyed singing and playing the piano.
Survivors include her husband, Roger, of Dickeyville; three sons, David (Debbie) Anderson, of Rapid City, South Dakota, and Steven and Samuel Anderson, both of Dickeyville; two sisters, Jeannette (Herbie) Heimer, of Coon Rapids, Minnesota, and Norma (Bernard) Hoff, of Belmond, Iowa; three grandchildren, Alan, Amanda and Kevin; and four great-grandchildren, David, Chance, Christopher and Jordan.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Eugene Wright.
