John Weber, Former
New Haven Farmer,
Died Last Thursday

Word was received here early last Thursday morning by Peter Weber that his brother, John, had been found dead in his bed early that morning at Stewartville, Minnesota. Mr. Weber had apparently been in good health, and the news comes as a shock to his family.

John Weber was born in Germany seventy-two years ago. He came to America with his parents in 1859, and in 1876 the family moved to Mitchell County, where he lived until about eighteen years ago. At that time he purchased a farm near Stewartville, Minnesota, and moved his family there.

After his marriage Mr. Weber farmed east of New Haven for many years and he and his family took a prominent part in community affairs.

Surviving is his wife, their three daughters, Mrs. Tillie Schmidt, Stewartville; Mrs. Martin Kelley, New Haven; and Katharine, who is married and lives in Michigan; and their sons, Mike and Charles who live at home.

Funeral services were held Monday at the Catholic Church at Stewartville, Minnesota, and burial made in the cemetery there.
