Rites for Randolph Brenden, 40,
OSAGE, IOWA, May 22 — Randolph Brenden, 40, was buried Tuesday afternoon following services held in the Rock Creek Lutheran Church, with the Rev. O. C. Myhre in charge. He was assisted by the American Legion who served as pall bearers and had charge of the services at the grave.
Mr. Brenden was born July 1, 1888, in Blancheville, Wisconsin, but had farmed in this county for many years. He served in the Infantry in France during 1918 and was there as police officer after the armistice was signed, until July, 1919. He has been ill ever since he came back, and has been at the home of his sister, Mrs. J. Schoger.
Other relatives surviving are: five other sisters:, Mrs. J. B. Johnson of Osage, Mrs. C. L. Anderson of Neche, North Dakota, Mrs. K. Rothie of Madison, Wisconsin, Mrs. W. J. Mandol of White Rock, South Dakota, Mrs. E. A. Christiansen of Rock township; three brothers, Ole of Fertile, Iowa, Christopher of Rock township, Henry of Fergus Falls, Minnesota, and the aged mother, Mrs. H. Brenden of Rock Township.
