Aged Resident of Meltonville Dies Following Illness

MELTONVILLE, IOWA — Funeral services for Ole Moen, Sr., were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the house and 2 o'clock at the Deer Creek Lutheran Church with the Rev. O. A. Langehough in charge of the services.

Mr. Moen died early Thursday morning at his farm home near here. He was about 80 and had been ill for some time.

He is survived by his wife and three sons, Alvin, Ole and Lloyd, and two daughters, Mrs. Olson of Des Moines, Mrs. Nelson of St. Ansgar and Mrs. Ask of St. Ansgar.

Mr. and Mrs. Moen celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary about eight years ago when they were living in Northwood, before moving back to their farm home.
