Margaret Smith, 1916-2005
Margaret Smith, age 88 of Stacyville, Iowa, died Friday, June 10, 2005 at the Stacyville Community Nursing Home.
She was born June 23, 1916 in Stacyville, Iowa, to Joseph and Elizabeth (Krebsbach) Smith. Margaret was a life long member of St. Johns Catholic Church in Johnsburg, Minn.
Margaret is survived by: brothers and sisters-in-law: Leo (Stella) Smith, Stacyville, Iowa; Bernard (Rita) Smith, Stacyville, Iowa; Gilbert J. Smith, Stacyville, Iowa; Gerwin A. (Florence) Smith, Mitchell, Iowa; 34 nieces and nephews; many great nieces and nephews; many great-great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Joseph and Elizabeth Smith; by sisters and brothers: Martha (Smith) Jax, Nicholas Smith, Gregory Smith and Ray Smith; one nephew and two great-nieces and great-nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 14, 2005 at St. Johns Catholic Church with Rev Ruben Spinler officiating. Interment will be in the St. Johns Catholic Cemetery in Johnsburg.
Casket Bearers will be: Dan Smith, Gerald Jax, Roger Smith, Charles Smith, Robert Smith, Ron Smith.
