OBITUARY: Vincent Kesten, 1913-1996
RICEVILLE, IOWA -- Vincent Kesten, 82, of Riceville, Iowa, died Friday, February 9, 1996, at Mitchell County Regional Health Center, Osage.
A funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Riceville, with the Rev. John Moser officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Vincent Frederick Kesten was born March 7, 1913, in rural McIntire.
Survivors include his wife, Sylvia Kesten of Riceville; two daughters, Sharon Campbell, Nora Springs, and Susan Christensen, Leland; one son, Fred Kesten, Rockwell City; one sister, Lillian Hale, LeRoy, Minn.; one brother, Gervace Kesten, Corona, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters and two brothers.
The Lindstrom Funeral Home, Riceville, was in charge of arrangements.
