Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar (Clara) Eidahl, 85, who died Sunday, September 21 in Vancouver, Wash. will be held Friday, September 26 at 2 p.m. at First Lutheran church here with the Rev. Don Comnick officiating.

Burial will be in First Lutheran cemetery. A service was also held in Vancouver Wednesday.

Mrs. Eidahl was born in Osage and lived in the Rock Creek area for many years. Her husband died in 1927. She had made her home in St. Ansgar until she moved to Vancouver in 1963.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Leonard (Alpha) Boelter of Valley City, N.D.; and Mrs. Olaf (Alice) Lysgaard, Vancouver, Wash.; 10 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Andrena Dynna of Nora Springs.

Clara (Klara) Dynna (Larson) was born September 4, 1884 at Rock, Mitchell, Iowa to Anders Larsen Dynna and Anna Hansdatter Knudsen (Bilden).

She was baptized at the Rock Creek Lutheran Church on November 16, 1884. Her baptismal sponsors were: Torgrim Nelsen and wife; Amund Andreasen; Karen Gulbrandsdatter Iverson. In the church records, her name is recorded as Klara. She was confirmed at RCLC on June 18, 1899.

Clara married Christ Oscar Eidahl on March 14, 1906 at Mitchell Co, Iowa; the couple had 2 daughters.

She died September 21, 1969 at Vancouver, Clark, Washington and was buried at the First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar, Mitchell, Iowa.

Funeral rites for Mrs. Clara Eidahl were held at the First Lutheran church in St. Ansgar w/ the Rev. Don Comnick officiating. Mrs. Eidahl died Sep 21, 1969 at Vancouver, Washington. Burial was in the First Lutheran Cemetery, St. Ansgar, IA.

Clara Dynna, daughter of Andrew and Anna Dynna was born in Rock Township, Mitchell Co. She was baptized & confirmed in the RCLC church, Meroa, IA. She attended the Cedar Valley seminary and later taught school in Rock Township. On March 14, 1906, she was united in marriage to Christ Oscar Eidahl. They established their farm in Marion, ND, where they lived for several years. They were active members of the Marion Lutheran Church. On Dec. 19, 1927, Oscar died and since then she has made her home w/ her daughters. She is survived by 2 daughters: Mrs. Leonard (Alpha) Boelter of Valley City, ND and Mrs. Olaf (Alice) Lysgaard of Vancouver, WA. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren, and one sister, Miss Andrena Dynna of Nora Springs, IA.

1910: Oscar C Eidahl 30, Clara Eidahl 25, Obphi?? Eidahl 2, Alpha A Eidahl 5/12. 1915: Clara Eidahl 32.

1920:Christ O Eidahl 39, Clara Eidahl 35, Alice O Eidahl 12, Alpho A Eidahl 10. (Censuses transcribed as found without fixing spelling errors.)
