Funeral services were held at the Danielson home at 1:30 and at the First Lutheran church at 2:00 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, April 10, for John Danielson. The Rev. O.A. Langehough was in charge of the obsequies. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery north of town.

Mr. Danielson died at the Cedar Valley Hospital at Charles City on Friday, April 6, where he had been quite ill for a considerable length of time.

John Danielson was born on the third of September, 1870 in Varmland, Sweden. In 1890 he emigrated to America, coming directly to Estherville, Iowa where his oldest sister was living. He worked on farms around Estherville until 1900 when he moved to Lyle, Minnesota. In 1901 he was united in marriage to Inga Wiger at St. Ansgar and to this union one son was born. Later they settled on a farm in Worth county, Iowa.

In 1908 they moved to a farm near St. Ansgar which continued to be their home until 1920, when they moved to St. Ansgar. There his wife passed away in April, 1924. In 1929 he was married to Mary Miller.

Surviving Mr. Danielson are his wife, son, four step-children, one brother and two sisters.
