OBITUARY: Wilmer L. Hartwig, 1926-1997
OSAGE, IOWA -- Wilmer L. Hartwig, 71, died Saturday, November 1, 1997, at the Muse Norris Hospice Inpatient Unit, Mason City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Chris F. Gugel officiating. Burial will be in the Osage Cemetery.
Wilmer L. Hartwig was born August 10, 1926, in Osage, Iowa.
Survivors include his wife, Isabella Hartwig of Osage; one daughter, Patricia Vandell of Missoula, Mont.; and one sister, Lois Wangen of Albert Lea, Minn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
The Champion Funeral Home, Osage, is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Hartwig, the former Isabella Heimbucher, was born June 15, 1925 in Augsburg, Germany.
His parents were Julius Hartwig and Ella Hollatz Hartwig.
