Mrs. Cassell Danielson Dies November 10; Memorial Services At Later Date
Mrs. Cassell (Ethel) Danielson, 73, of St. Ansgar, died Tuesday, November 10 at a Mason City Hospital. Private memorial services will be held at a later date as the body was donated to the University of Iowa Medical School, Iowa City.
Mrs. Danielson was born June 4, 1914, in Denison to Theodore and Ella Benecke. She married Cassell Danielson on December 19, 1944 in Minneapolis, Minn. They lived in St. Ansgar.
She was a member of the St. Ansgar Garden Club and Immanuel Lutheran Church here.
Survivors include one daughter, Marjorie Delgado of Belle Plaine, Minn.; one son, John of Clear Lake; two grandchildren; two sisters, Marjorie Fletcher of New Hope, Minn. and Dorothy Cooke of Denver, Colo.; and one brother, Oscar Benecke of Seattle, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
The family requests memorials be made to the Hospice of North Iowa.
